Dark brown almost black pour with a sturdy tan top. Scent is roasty with chocolate. Taste is the same with a pepper note that does not overwhelm.

Nose of dark roasted malts, some chocolate, earth, and spicy vegetal chipotle notes. Nice nose. Spicy and roasty. Pours dark brown with a nice creamy head. Flavors of roasted malts, a little chocolate, earth, spicy dry chipotle notes a little heat but subdued by the roast. Smooth creamy dry spicy. Good beer.
