Chinook hops. West Coast style IPA. This beer is under construction and still being tweaked. This IPA finishes with a bright hop and a particular sweetness. Check back for future batches!

Almost copper pour with frothy white head and lace. Citrus hops and sweet malt dominate aroma. Citrus hops, sweet caramel malt, and a growing resiny like bitter that hangs on forever, tones of breadiness on the flavor as well. Medium/light body with good carbonation. Nice beer.

Adam Bomb is a classic American style IPA. Bright orange to copper in color with a nice foam head, it smells citrusy and floral. Bright fresh hops. On the palate it tastes fresh and just reminds me of a classic IPA. Not overly bitter or sweet. Refreshing as can be. Great beer year round. Easily the best effort that Iíve tasted from Blackstone. Well done guys.

Cloudy dark orange body that throws up a tall off-white head. Hop aroma of grapefruit and pine resin. Solidly bitter flavor profile. The malt sweetness is there in a support role, but the hop bitterness has this well checked. Bravo for Blackstone. The best beer Iíve had from them.

1 Apr 2014, bottle. light orange, clear, no bubbles, frothy head. nose is big grapefruit hops. med/full body and moderately fizzy. peaches and grapefruit. sweet enough to balance big hops. I really like this. Itís virtuality the perfect IPA based on my preference for a full bodied, sweet IPA

Ar: Bright lemon and pine, some orange juice. Ap: Amber, clear - medium-small off-white head with moderate retention and a think cap of foam. T: Fresh punch of hops up front, very similar to aroma (lemon, pine, and orange) - medium-low clean malty sweetness - bitterness is medium-high, sneaks up on you - long lemony finish. P: Medium body with medium-high carbonation - finish is dry. O: An exciting offering from Blackstone - the hoppiness is pronounced and bright - this one is delicious, could easily drink several.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2013 On tap at Flying Saucer in Germantown, TN. Pours a clear golden color with decent head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is strong: floral, some citrus, some pine. hoppy smell but balanced. Taste is on the floral side, with some grapefruit and citrus I think. Finish is lightly bitter but smooth. This is the best IPA in Tennessee that I have tried that leans towards the West Coast IPAs ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. Bottle --> Tulip. Thanks MissAliceDonut! Cloudy orange pour, generous billowy head. Weird, when I initially nosed this I had a Founders Devil Dancer flashback, bready malts and dank hops... Itís not punch you in the face citrus. Mouthfeel is low to medium and carbonation is spritely. It rolls over the palate a little awkwardly, initial bite is there, then it kicks out mid-palate. Finishes is sticky, malty sweet. I donít know if this really fits the west coast ipa mold, however I do like it! Grassy and floral, this leaves some nice lacing on the glass.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy lighter gold wiht a one finger white head. Thick lacing all the way around the sides of the glass with pretty good head retention. The aroma is quite dank with some hints of onion. Citrus is present but it is a little bit muted with just a little orange, pineapple, and grapefruit sneaking through. Pretty unique and quite mouthwatering. Definitely more citrus present in the flavor in the way of pineapple and grapefruit. There is a little clove/banana yeast character but not enough to really throw off the flavor. Some earth and not a whole lot in the way of maltiness; the hops are the driving force in this beer. Bitterness is assertive with a little stickyness left over. Overall, a really good offering from Blackstone and a solid IPA. While it is not as fruity as I prefer, it is a beer worthy of picking up and one of the better ones I have had from a Tennessee brewery.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of Suttree. Thanks! Pours a hazy amber color with a large tan head. Good head retention. Sticky hop aroma with citrus and tropical notes. The taste is bitter, citrus hops and toffee malts. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Solid beer.
