12 oz bottle to a footed pilsner. Pours golden with small white head. Floral hops and grain. Nice spicy sweet flavor and true to the style. I think these guys are getting there.

A really nice Kolsch! Pours a nice clear yellow with a light white head. Nice quiet aroma head left a bit too early. Good carbonation. Gentle flavor with good mix of malt and hops, nice bitter as you swallow. Great fullness in the mouth. Why did I only get one to bring home???!!!

Very nice. Kolsch is a style that’s a little lighter than I usually like. This is a good example. It starts with a little more hops than I expected, but finishes very clean.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
12oz bottle pours a neon yellow with zero head. Nose is trashy, lemon tea, creamed corn, stale malt, straw. Flavor has lemon lime soda, trash, mild spice, cheap flowers. Cheap and flabby finish.

Look: pours a straw color. Very clear. Head disappears quickly.
Smell: heavy on the malt. No fruit at all.
Taste: slight bitterness at the end. Very malt centered beer. Not too sweet.
Feel: very light beer. Not to heavily carbonated. Very refreshing.
Overall: seems like a good summer beer. Very light and refreshing.
First drank: home 5/20/14

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On Tap at Blackstone Restaurant and Brewery in Nashville TN. Chaser pale is a yellow golden beer in the kolsch style with a thin head of white foam. Nose is sweet malt and a hint of hops. Taste is clean sweet malt with little else going on. Not exactly a pale or a kolsch, but a very nice easy drinking beer with a good taste profile that is different than similar beers.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
It poured a dark amber color with a white head. The aroma was malty with a minor amount of hoppiness. The taste was also malty with a little hop bitterness. There was a different aftertaste that lingered and was not all that pleasant.
