Braudog (3464), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates May 19, 2006 Draft 5 oz sample at the brewpub, 5/14/06: Golden orange with a thin veil. Crisp tartness in the bitterness. Nice exceptionally clean beer with no huskiness to a great malt basis. Very pleasant hoppy beer. BBB63 (3843), La Porte, Indiana, USA Mar 18, 2008 Cask handpull at brewpub: Clean golden hue with a small frothy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of grassy noble hops, some apple and mango esters, biscuity malt, hint of caramel, and some pepper vapours. The taste is a balanced mild bitterness, fruity and dry grainy background. A touch medicinal but not too bad. The mouth feel is soft and chalky, thin and refreshing enough. A very quaffable session beer, I liked it. The should be listed as an ESB methinks. PhillyBeer2112 (1887), Orange Park, Florida, USA Oct 7, 2002 GABF 2002: Light fruity aroma. Some herbal hop aromatics. Pale amber color. Nice fruity flavor and good strong bitter finish. Aurelius (2517), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Apr 21, 2006 Tawny, thin lacing, clear despite not being filtered. Sweeetish, yeasty, slightly uric aroma. Sweet at first, then it dries out and becomes biscuity. Finishes a bit salty. An interesting brew. Claims 32 IBU, but it’s smooth and not bitter. Quite good. CaptBier (273), Birmingham, Alabama, USA May 1, 2008 Draft at Blackstone. Bright copper color with thick foamy head and great lacing. Aroma is very malty with a fresh scent. Taste is rich malt with light hop notes.
