3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Growler from the brewpub. Pours dark brownish amber with quickly dissipating head. Malty aroma with hints of chocolate. The flavor has apparent nuttiness, caramel malts, and a touch of roastiness. Most drinkable, this.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark, ruby tinted brew with a frothy light mocha head.
Sweet malt aroma.
Slightly sweet but lacking in fullness of body and depth of flavor to go World Class.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear, bright reddish-brown body with substantial carbonation and a nice, creamy head with decent retention. Aroma of caramel, mild dark fruit, a note of warm diacetyl, and hints of veggies and vague earthy hops. Medium-high sweet fruit and caramel flavors with a hint of tobacco and creamy nuttiness. Building hop character with some toasty grain and hop bitterness. Fairly clean and well-rounded. Medium body with palatable sweetness and a creamy texture. Solid brown ale, but could benefit from more attenuation. I bet this has a strong following among non beer geeks. Thanks SpringsLicker.

A very nice brown when poured into the glass. On the lighter side of Medium carbonation. Forgot to smell it though (so gave it a 5). Very pleasant on the palate. Nice with cheese and crackers.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brown in colour with a low to medium amount of carbonation. Aromas of nuts, malt, and toffee are dominant. There are flavor notes of caramel and chocolate malts, nuts, herbascious hops, and a touch of bread. It also has a lasting sweet finish. Very complex.

Tasty nut brown, nutty at first but flavor fades somewhat. Still a nice ale though with good roasted flavor.

Bottle; Creamy, medium head and rich dark drown color. Smells of toasted nuts. At first, a nutty flavor but then you detect a milk chocolate flavor. Low carbonation. Smooth, easy drinking Brown Ale.

Pours with an amber-brown body topped by a medium thick to thick head with some lacing. The aroma is slighlty sweet and malty with a slight mustiness. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty with a slight nut note and a nice roastiness. Medium bodied, slightly tingly and a touch dry.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap, into a 10 oz. ale glass. Bready and malty aroma with a very tiny bit of noticable acid tang. Transluscent golden brown in the glass with ok uniform lacing in an off-white head. Medium body. This was exactly as named: nutty. I donít think Iíve had a more nutty beer. Peanut, walnut and pecan accent a bready/malty sweetness. Pistachio in the finish. Not much carbonation. Some nice noble hopping to balance. Smooth. Finish doesnít really add anything, it just kind of fades out. Solid offering.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Chocolate, coffee and nice nutty flavors combine in a very balanced nature on the palate. Has a nice aftertast that lingers and urges you to continue on in your quest to finish. Creamy palate and very enjoyable. Nashville should be proud of this one.
