Clear medium amber, long-lasting rim-head, narrow bands of lace. Taste begins with caramel malt, grows through palate, adding chocolate touched with vanilla in the palate, finishing with slight bittering. Drinkable, but not typical of the normal sessionable browns.

not a real interesting nut brown as these goes, but completely passable. reminds me of Tommyknocker or Breckenridge, one of those blase brewers’ nut brown ales. decent but nothing special.

pours a dark brown hue with a light brown head that is mostly dimnishing
aroma of nuts and malt - a little bit of smoked wood as well
flavor is a tad astringent up top with a malthu nutty finish
hints of dark roast coffee in the flavor as well
