Commercial Description:
An American style amber ale which has its roots in a British ale called a "Bitter". However, this Ale is truly an American microbrewery style, with American hops which have a more floral aroma. Also the finish hops in an American style amber ale are more pronounced. (O.G. - 1.050 IBUs-29)

Draft at Blackstone. Red in color with thick white head. Easy to drink, very nutty in flavor. Not a bad amber.

On tap at Blackstone Brewery in Nashville, TN.<br /> Beautiful red color. Great floral hop aroma. A little more than is usually expected in a "Red Ale." In a city that is generally lacking in acceptable micro brews, this one stands far above the rest. Great restaurant and a great beer&#033;

Rich, malty and reddish amber in coloring with a lovely off white head. Fresh, fruity hop nose, with some flowery honey notes as well. This is a great bitter defenitely made in a British tradition with an American hop twist. Smooth with a balanced mouthfeel and a dry, crisp finish. This one covers all the style bases, a definite home run.

Draught at the tavern. Dark reddish amber pour with decent sized medium head. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste of flowery hops and malt with a sweet finish.
