CaptBier (234), Birmingham, Alabama, USA May 1, 2008 Draft at Blackstone. Nice very dark brown color with medium off white head. Nice rich toasted malt aroma with sweet smelling light hops. Kind of thin malt taste but with coffee undertones. Not bitter at all. Nice porter.
knights97 (43), Tennessee, USA Jun 1, 2008 on tap, dark brown in appearance, small tan head to it, taste of chocolate malts, smooth with no bitterness. excellent porter with a thin to moderate body on it. SpringsLicker (1762), Tennessee, USA Apr 28, 2008 Pours a clear dark brown with an average tan head.
Chocolate/coffee roast malt aroma, that is copied in the flavor. Smooth with a dry finish. Very nice. Pwn3d (578), NYC, New York, USA Mar 22, 2008 tap at the restaurant in nashville. Sharp and a bit dry. Coffee, chocolate. Medium/thin bodied. Brock_Landers (714), Panama City, Florida, USA Jan 1, 2008 Had this in both the draft and cask versions. Dark brown/black pour..smallish tan head. Big roasty nose...choco-malt and coffee too. Flavor is roastier...medium bodied...started out tasty and just got better as is warmed. Light hop bitterness in the end...a very nice porter rendition.
