Pours a clear dark brown with an average tan head. Chocolate/coffee roast malt aroma, that is copied in the flavor. Smooth with a dry finish. Very nice.

GABF 2008. Deep copper brown. Nice aromas of cocoa and clay. Rich chocolate flavour with perfectly nuanced notes of roast, prunes, and mild earthy bitterness. Silky mouthfeel, medium bodied. An excellent porter indeed.

Sampled at the 12th Annual Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Ruby brown pour with an eggshell head that lasts as a cover. The color threw me off but I see they say its a brown porter. Very sweet candied fruits and chocolate. Slightly bitter with more sweetness in the finish. Very little roasted malt for a porter.
