Can from Thai supermarket. Clear beautiful golden/orange body, no head as usual. Nose is wood, yellow and red apples with touches of yeast. Taste is sweet yellow apples up front, then a wooden tart tone sets in and lasts throughout the rest of the palate. Dry finish, medium carbonation. Quite all right in my book.

44cl can from the Coop. More or less a straight up commercial cider. Toasted apple aroma. Sweetish cider in mouth. just a bit bland. Fine but not really very appley. Dull and a touch sweet.

0.5 L Can. Straw-yellow color with bubbleish appearance. Ridiculous aroma of co2, dextrose, saccharine, slight sourish apple, huge amount of rusty metal paired with a somewhat chlorinated swimming-pool character. Additive driven off-flavors dominates the whole palate. The main mouthfeel is basically sour with citric acid, rusty metal and other chemical acids. Terrible (unfortunately long-life) sulphurous, acid aftertaste. Watery, flat surface. Chemical, industrial crap for horrible price (here in Hungary :)). Waste of time and money. Amazingly unbalanced.

Can, probably from Geoffrey’s of London, Antibes (http://www.geoffreysoflondon.com/)
Gold-amber body, extremely fizzy, medium sized white head. Burnt popcorn nose, more of the same in the taste, only with light apple and acidity. It’s basically crap (even overrating it a little I reckon) and I can see why the West Country people were pissed off when it came out.

09/10 0.44 l can from an English shop in Antibes. It poured golden body with smaller head that went down quite fast. Burned rubber stench, flavor about the same as well, weak, boring, without aftertaste. Well, I don’t want another rubbergum anyway! And they even dare to say improved taste on the can! Ughhh, what crap this is!

Can. Nice deep clear golden colour. Sweet squeezed apple juice aroma with rubber. Good mouthfeel. Sweet apple juice flavour with a mild sourness and something woodish.
