Light yellow. Smells like apples and wet hay. Flavor is big at first, but then disappears as quickly as it comes. Tastes sweet and is very light.

500 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear golden colour with small white cap. Aroma is sweet, tart apple; taste likewise. Fairly dry in the finish. Neither bad, nor anything special - it just is.

Can (16.9 oz.). Pours a clear golden color with minimal head. Aroma and flavor of apple juice and champagne. Dry mouthfeel.

This dry cider has nice crisp & bitter taste and a long finish. It poors golden with a small white head.

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2011 Can - pours a clear golden orange with no head. Aroma is faintly of well apples. Taste is the sweet tartness of green apples. That said, it is pretty watery and thin, so it’s hard to tell this has any alcohol, let alone 6% of the canned version. It reminds me of the frozen concentrated fruit juice you can buy at the grocery store that some one has added too much water to. Disappointing.

This is my first cider rating and I’ve only ever drunk a few of them. It’s a nice looker, with golden clarity albeit with no head (oh, that’s right, cider, not beer). I don’t find this to be sweet. There’s a nice apple tartness to it, but perhaps it lacks flavor. The alcohol doesn’t show. Just the right level of carbonation.

Can -- tall boy, no less. Pours gold with minimal fizz. Smells like apple cider vinegar, cheap booze, and old socks. Taste isn’t any better; funky, skunky, metallic, and just not happy-making. As the late and lamented Graham Chapman once said, ’Nasty tinny thing’.

$1 can from New Beer. Rounded pint glass. Worn, gold color. Strong initial fizz leaves just barely a ring of head. Smell is of glue, warm Carlo Rossi Rhine wine, fermenting runoff, & a general lack of character. Taste is odd. Sharp & bittersweet upfront, turning a yogurt-y sour at the end. Grainy, dry finish. Twinge of carbonation. Preservatives are sufferable. Lingering throat burn. All that added sugar reveals itself as it warms. My head hurts.
