Hand-pulled half pint on 3 Oct 2013 at the Crown Inn, Oakengates (one of 34 different cask offerings during a beer festival). Pours a light golden colour with a white covering. The nose and taste were hop lead, some citrus notes and herbal hints. The malts arrived later, giving a mildy sweet depth. Subtle and delicate flavours, others might say weak or even bland tasting. I’d have preferred more oomph in my ’Hair of the Dog’ to be honest.

Cask at The Barton Arms; golden pilsner like pour with minimal white head, feint citrus hop aroma, hops were trying to make themselves known over the diacetyl.

Cask conditioned handpump Slug & Lettuce Leicester 12/09/13. A bright golden beer with a white head. Good citrus flavours a la Salopian. Tropical fruits. A bit of unwanted sweetness. but it’s acceptable really. A nice depth of flavour. Another good golden.
