COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special - October 2009.
The palate is crisp and hoppy with vivid fruit and a hint of greeness that comes across as almost spicy, pale amber coloured with a long finish.
Also known as Salopian Underworld at 4%

Cask conditioned at Far from the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Amber with hardly any head, flat. Sharp, perfumey chemical note, distinctly lychee in character, quite odd and somewhat off putting. Not good.

Cask in the Market Porter. Alround rating: Pale and light caramel off the malt, herbal mint like hoppyness with soem thistle character comign through. Not the usual salopian beer, but decent.

Cask, Fly in the Loaf, Liverpool. Amber colour with a half decent sized white head. Fragrant aroma had traces of tropical fruit and some grassy hop as did the flavour. Dry bitter finish. Quite tasty.

Cask at FFTMC, Oxford, 16-10-09 Pours mid amber with good clarity and a medium white head. Nicely bitter, reasonably tangy, touch dry, nicely bitter at the end, some hops show. Think that I enjoyed this a little more than Glen. A6 A4 F7 P3 Ov14 3.4
