courtesy of Samuel Aeschlimann - black beer under a long lasting dark beige foam; fairly roasted with notes of vanilla, pralines and tar; full-bodied and with some fair sweetness, creamy palate yet pretty thick; solidly bitter, some residual sugars; strong notes of coffee, walnuts and roasted malts - solid and very well-made
