A Mes rate: barrel at GBBF.
Yellow brown colour with medium haziness. Slight amonia in the aroma does it no favours but what is underneath is still decent enough. Very sweet and spritzy apples, some faint spice and ginger with a reasonable level of dryness just about keeping it in the medium bracket rather than having it move over into full on sweet territory. Solid but not amazing.

Strong fruit aroma. Golden coloured and a little hazy in appearance with a crisp and dry lasting finish.

Cloudy golden with a small white head. Weak apple juice aroma. Sweetish plain apple juice flavour

Cloudy golden with tiny white short lasting head. Somewhat dry dry aroma with woody and sourish notes. Flavor is fairly dry with apples and wood.

GBBF2008. Golden colour, no head. Very nice wooden and vanillaish notes along with fruit concentrate and apples. Flavour is dry apples along with some hints of pine and other wood. Dries out the tongue bigtime.

From the barrel - GBBF 2008. A light orange coloured cider. Fairly plain in the nose; just a hint of apple. Some decent dryness in the mouth, with some tannins. Not a ton of apples again. A standard ordinary cider.
