Cask at the Claret, Addiscombe. It pours hazy golden yellow, with a thin white head. The nose is tropical fruits, Five Alive fruit juice (orange, mango and pineapple), wood and floral. The taste is pine, white grape, pineapple, grapefruit, vinous element, booze and a touch of resin, with a warming bitter-dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Good stuff.

Strong IPA, although not full-bodied, and retains plenty of citrus notes in its taste.

Cask@Southampton Arms, London. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, honeyish, wooden and mildly spicy. Flavour is fruity, floral and caramelly in a nice balance. Ends rather grassy and bitter.

Cask at Middlewich Beer Festival 29/10/2011 First beer of the festival, strong hoppy aroma and taste with a huge kick of alcohol which I wasn’t expecting!

Cask @ Southampton Arms, London. Clear orange color, small white lacing. Slightly grassy hoppy smell. Taste hops, malts and some bitter. Low carbonation, low to medium body.
