Cask (handpump) at the Old Market Tavern, Altrincham. Very pale - straw colour with a greenish tinge. Clean and fairly dry. Some citric notes. Not packed with flavour but OK. More of a light, pale bitter than a golden ale.

Cask Handpump at Northern Brewing Limited, Blakemere 08/03/2008 Large white head. Hoppy and floral aromas. Clear golden coloured very hoppy and slightly citrus flavoured. Smooth and creamy on the palate with a little dryness in a crisp and bitter finish.
