Some hop aroma. Golden bronze coloured and a little dry with some bitterness in a wheaty finish.

Fresh pine hops aroma with a touch of caramel. Foggy gold with a white ring. Nice caramel malt flavour with citrusy pine hops and a harsh bitterness. Light to medium body, low carbonation, clean finish.

(Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester, 24 July 2009) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus (lemon) and tropical fruit (pineapple). Fruity taste with citrus, tropical fruit, pineapple and a generous grassy/citrussy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Quite nice and tasty.

Clear medium orange yellow color with a small, mostly diminishing head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light moderate hoppy, orange, apple notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090718]

Cask in the smithfield hotel, manchester. Alround rating: Pale sweet honey malts, some lemon is owned by the old cellar rubbishness, poor nick again again and again.

Cask-conditoned at the Portcullis, Bristol 23/07/09. Pale gold in colour with no head. Lemony hops, a touch of sweetness and a decently dry finish. Shame that I visited the pub for its cider festival, or I would have had another.

I thought I’d written down Wumble, but Womble sounds nicer anyway. Cellar run @ Smithfields Hotel Manchester. Lemon and red berries in the aroma and flavor. Some oily hops. Mango Pineapple. Fruity, faultless ale, maybe just a hint of dust.
