A hazy pale yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is wheaty combined with lots of lemon. The flavor is very fresh wheaty combined with notes of lemon adn lime, but the body is thin. Probably good on a hot summer day in the sun.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (21782) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 16, 2005
(On tap) As indicated by the "Blanche" tag this is a wheat by Belgian standards, therefore very pale in appearance with prominent touches of coriander and orange peel. A seasonal for the hotter months - and only on tap. Fresh and very fruity and a formidable thirstquencher. In a plastic mug at "Brooklyn Pig Fest" this beer may not have the most prominent appearance, but it doesn’t hide the fact, that this is an excellent Belgian Wheat which has beaten Hoegarden Wit in several competitions.

I had this at the release party a few years ago and it was then, and still is, one of the best of style. Garrett Oliver is a master when it comes to authentically producing classic styles.
