Tangy lemon aroma which reminds me of a lemon meringue pie. Lemon in the taste with a slight hint of spice which is subtle but tasty. Very refreshing. KimJohansen (6676), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jan 6, 2008 Hazy yellow with medium head. Coriander, oranges and yeast is in the aroma and flavor. My favourite witbier. Nice on those hot summerdays. hughie (3016), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jan 1, 2008 Hazy greyish gold with a large white head. Aroma of yeast and citrus zest. Citric sourness in the taste with a wheaty background. A little soapy dryness. Didn’t get on too well with this. Perhaps wits need a summer evening... Slayer85 (582), Firenze, Italy Dec 3, 2007 750 ml bottle. A very cloudy and pale blonde beer with a big and persistent white head. Near soapy lemon aroma with spicy touches of coriander and orange peel. The flavour has wheaty, yeasty and spicy notes (again orange, lemon and coriander). Perhaps less picy than expected after the aroma. It has a nice refreshing tartness, but maybe the body is too thin. Well carbonated with short/medium aftertaste and light bitterness. At least thirst quenching.
