Commercial Description:
Blond, cloudy, milky (colloïdal by cold). The cloudy appearance is created at low temperature but disappears when the beer gets warmer or when it is kept too long in the cold. Fine fruity with a scent of the used spice, coriander and bitter orange. Smooth beer, thirst-quenching but mild, slightly acidulous, powdery consistency on the tongue, not bitter

Bottle corked. Poured hazy yellow with a large frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate yeasty sour citrus aroma. Light to medium body. Medium citrus sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Pours cloudy pale yellow with a large foamy white head that lasts for a long time. Nose is orange, coriander, and honey. The flavor begins with more coriander, apricot and honey sweetness, and a rather interesting earthy note that reminds me of newly turned soil. Finish has an oily bitterness from bitter orange peel, and some yeast spiciness, almost like a tripel. This is underrated for some reason.

Bottle, from ASDA. Hazy lemon gold, fluffy but shortlived white head and moderate condition. Low gentle corriander spice and lemon citrus in the nose, quite tangy and faintly lactic in the mouth with a balance of sweetness and some spiced notes, gentle milky sweet finish with some dry bitter spiciness at the end.

Hazy yellow, moderate head, decent lacing and retention. Aroma is very lemony with notes of coriander and other spices. Flavor brings this, light bodied and watery. Very lemony but otherwise boring wit.

Well this is a belgian wit lacking complexity and sweetness, I would have appreciated a touch more sweet wheat taste, instead it was drier and less complex in taste than i had hopped for, makes Hoegaarden look special.

Dark, cloudy colour. Exceptionally crisp taste with great flavour. A little spiciness, and a great balance of sharp and sweet. A great white beer that is very refreshing and has a little more gas than some other white beers.

I though this was one of the better white beers that I have tried. It had a nice spicy flavor with the trademarks of a good white. The head was big and the flavor stayed with me long after I took a sip.

Pours a hazy pale yellow, with a one finger head that fades very quickly to a thin spotty cap, leaving behind a minimal amount of lace. Smell; very much on the mild side. There’s a little orange peel, and coriander, with a light wheat presence. I don’t smell any of the licorice that the label claims is in this. Taste; the flavor is actually even more thin than the aroma was, and I’m having a hard time picking out any favors other than the orange and coriander. If I concentrate hard enough, I can almost trick myself into tasting the licorice. Mouthfeel is light bodied, with only a little bit of carbonation.
