| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 7, 2006 I can’t quite make up my mind on this witbier. The spicing seems a bit heavy and over-handed, esp with the coriander. Notes of licorice in the nose, but not the flavor. Orangeskin not very detectable. There’s a bit of a wheat character, minty and grainy, and a mild acidity through the finish. A touch of candy, but not very sweet. Vaguely floral. Appropriate cloudy white color with a big fluffy head.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 25, 2006 From a 750 ml. caged cork bottle with a short blurb, serving instructions and a best before date on the back label, 19.12.08.
Poured a cloudy blonde with a foamy, frothy white head that settled into a thin lacing, minimal amount of sticking.
Aromas of wheat malts, powdery, coriander, a light peppery spice and a soft orange peel fruity.
Good carbonation and a wheaty crisp, dry, medium-light bodied mouthfeel, a very nice feel in the palate.
Highly quaffable and pleasant tasting, a sweet wheat malty, coriander and a soft peppery, a light taste of honey, a sour orange peel and a dry powdery, orangey, malty finish.
Witbier is one of my favorite styles and I found this to be very enjoyable, well worth trying.

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 19, 2006 Large 1 pint 9.4 oz bottle with pretty blue label. Yummy. This beer had a huge head that disappeared very quickly. Hazy yellow body with huge sized particles. Light maltyness of grain, slight citrus tone, maybe orange. Soapy nose. Tast of coriander and licorice. Intial and finish was lightly sweet with some acidicness. Average duration. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. By far a superior witbier. I would recomend this to any one. This would be great for summer or anytime. Bravo. dornoy (680), Lyngby, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 5, 2006 Thick head on light yellow body. Very fruity, with citrus fruits and all kind of spices. Very frash and drinkable. Better than Hoegaarden in fact. vyvvy (2034), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 30, 2006 Pours very light yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma is very much like a good wit - smooth wheat, gentle coriander and very smooth citrus - gentle and flavorful. Medium to light body with a good amount of carbonation. Starts lightly sour citrus between orange and lemon. There is also so spice and crisp wheat. The finish is spicier and more of a lemon citrus. The carbonation is very spritzy and refreshing. A good interpretation of a wit, but more expensive than others of similar quality. Tranquillity (1165), Espoo, Finland
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 5/20 | Sep 28, 2006 Updated: Mar 31, 2008Small bottle. Very pale colour, quite thick foam. Fresh orangey aroma, cloves and cinnamon in there too. The beer is wonderfully foamy but unfortunately this one has a very disturbing dense bitterness which makes it taste... dirty. It tastes like a beer with the yeast poured into the glass, even though it’s properly poured. I have to try another bottle. Grovlam (3809), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 27, 2006 A lot like the Hoegaarden white, but slightly better. Very light, smooth and drinkeable beer. Fruit and ritch for a white beer.
