Commercial Description:
Blond, cloudy, milky (colloïdal by cold). The cloudy appearance is created at low temperature but disappears when the beer gets warmer or when it is kept too long in the cold. Fine fruity with a scent of the used spice, coriander and bitter orange. Smooth beer, thirst-quenching but mild, slightly acidulous, powdery consistency on the tongue, not bitter

APPEARANCE: Pitiful and thin. HEAD: None. NOSE: Blue hockey puck in urinal, complete with a little urine. TASTE: Alka Seltzer Plus Cold Medicine-- on a good day. BODY: Absolutely none. SUMMARY: One of the crappiest beers I have ever had. This is the same country that produced such masterpieces as Rodenbach Grand Cru, Chimay, Westmalle, and even De Ranke Bitter XX?

Pours a milky white yellow, lots of chunky yeast, with a quickly dissipating fizzy white head. Aroma is innitially of orange, then a touch of corriander with a wheaty graininess and a light note of banana. The body is spritzy, fizzy, and watery. The flavors are pretty dominantly orange and spiced. Some graininess that falls to a lactic sourness that hits you in the back of the throat. Not bad but lacking in body and freshness. I’d like to try this at the source.

Bottle (#143351). Pours very pale cloudy gold with a good size, but fast-fading, white head, and lots of black floaties. The aroma is zest, some sweet bread, some ambient earthy scents, and corriander if I breathe deeply enough. The palate is quite smooth. The flavor is zest and crackers at first, some faint banana, and a slightly spicy finish that melds into a very fruity aftertaste where I can pick up some orange. Not bad, but nothing superior.

Bottled. Hazy yellow-brown color with sturdy head. Coriander and bitter orange in the aroma, along with exaggarated jaffa orange character. Wheaty flavor with coriander, orange and yeasty spiciness. Sharp carbonation. The orange aroma and flavor is too essence-like.

Cloudy palest gold, faintly tinged with green. Raucously fizzy head collapses immediately. Nose is citrus, wheatberry, musk, wet wool, alkaseltzer. Bland flavors of mineral water and lemon/lime zest. Bright acidity. Coriander and orange are barely identifiable, and the label-advertised licorice is too far below my radar. Light body, cola-like carbonation, and a limestone pastey/greasy feel. Overall impression is "tart" and little else.
