La Blanche de Namur è una classica wit beer belga tra le più leggere e comuni in circolazione. L’ho bevuta spesso in accompagnamento con una pizza e ne ho apprezzato la facilità di beva. Non mi piace quel retrogusto di detersivo al limone che ti rimane in bocca per ore.

0.33l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. Pours a light blurry golden-yellow body with a small sidesticking and bubbly just off-white head. The aroma is quite zesty,coriander, wheat, lots of lemony-citrus. Quite alright actually. Lively carbo levels and a thin oily to watery mouthfeel. Light acidic and wheaty with peppery spices and hints of hay. Ends kinda watery. A tasty wit this, and I quite liked it. 30.01.2012

Bottle from Centra Colosseum, Oslo, shared with BBGTC. Pours a light hazy straw body with a small, white head. Taste is classic wheat citric tones, coriander seeds and hints of honey and orange peel. Very nice. Full body, medium-to-high carbonation. A classic Belgian wit - no more, but certainly no less either.

Bottle from Centra Colosseum, Majorstua, Oslo. Hazy light yellow colour with a white head. Frutiy and light sweet aroma with some notes of orange. A fresh and lovely mild sweet flavour. Fruity, light acidic, some orange and wheat. Lovely stuff

25cl bottle. Hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. Good formation and perfect lacework on the glass. Aroma is fresh, with citrus and cinnamon hints. Flavour is slightly sweet where citrus and cinnamon are present. Moderate malty and a slightly bittery final. Carbonation is lively. Body is light.

On draught at Cafe Belgique in Amsterdam. Pours a dense yellowish straw color with big bubbles, white head and lace. slightly citrusy aroma, light body, soft mouthfeel and mellow wheaty flavor. Short, clean finish. Very easy-drinking.
