3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
11.2 oz bottle into a goblet...Pours a bubbly honey gold lots of carbonation...The aroma is sweet but complex, immediatly I get lots of champaagne yeast, orange peel, sugar, and sweet licorice as if it was a spice not candyish. The licorice has a very medicinal quality to it, but in a nice way, its really refreshing...The taste is a little blah, the flavors don’t really come through as much, its a lightly sweet to start then a bit of bitter on the back.

Fine wit, very crisp citrus, no reference to malt here. A serious summer beer. A little coriander, low on the banana scale.

750 corked and caged to chalice. Pours bright yellow and cloudy with white head that stays with the beer and laces. Cloves, orange peel and some straw. Sweet with oranges. Creamy palate with a smooth finish with no aftertaste what so ever. Nice.

A somewhat cloudy white beer. Not too bad, the usual blend of spices like coriander and orange zest.

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
My dad loves these so I got him a 750ml to split. Best before: 22/02/10.
Pours with a small white head that quickly dissipates. Color is definitively more vibrant than most Witbiers and is that summery looking bright gold/yellow.
Smells overwhelmingly of orange peel with a hint of spices and yeast.
Nice mouthfeel on this one, nice and prickling carbonation, light body, the beer style of summer. The orange is subdued in the taste replaced with a healthy serving of tart lemons. Subtle spices of corriander and liquorice and bitter orange peel tag along towards the end. Ends with a moderately dry finish.
It would be decently drinkable, the sourness gets tiresome for me personally after a while, the 4.5% alcohol makes it an ideal session brew for those who enjoy the tartness and at just over 6.00 for a 750ml it is not a bad alternative to similar priced beers such as Blanche de Bruxelles. Although it has alot more bite than other belgian wits I have tasted.
Overall a good summer session beer, not anywhere near the best in the wit category but worth a try for comparison and from my dad "5 outta 5".

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Egészen világos, szalmasárga szín. Nem kristálytiszta de nem is ködös, nem zavaros. Erős édes szőlő illat (talán Irsai).
Íze vékony nem testes, savas keserűség végül citromos utóíz.
Nem is rossz!
