3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 1, 2007 buona blanche anche se - a quanto pare - disdegnata dai più;

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The pour reveals a slightly cloudy yellow color with a medium white head that leaves average lacing on the glass. The aroma is dominated by the adequate fruity esters, banana and citrus, there are mild spices in there but the yeast is not present. The flavor has a competent blend of banana, citrus and coriander, again the yeast isn’t detected, also the tart freshness of wheat is present but mild. The body has a light to medium thickness with a creamy texture and gentle carbonation. A competent and adequate witbier but not one that I would buy again.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from State Line. Hazy off-yellow pour with 1-finger white head. Aroma is orange zesty, spicy, with coriander and white pepper notes. The palate is medium to light, spritzy, with flavors of wheaty malt, spicy hops, coriander, orange zest, and white pepper.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: JUN 16, 2007 Sampled as Tesco ’Finest’ Belgian Wheat Beer. Pale, unmalted haze with a thick creamy collar of froth that persists well. Perfumey nose with a sickly waft of orange, honey and coriander sweetness. There’s some serious poetic license being taken here. This tastes like flat low cal Lilt, with an added tang of molten plastic and alcohol. If you’ve ever accidentally frozen a Wit and tried to drink the liquid left swilling around the ice (surely we’ve all been there??), it sort of reminds me of that. Flat, stale, tropically fruity and nastily alcoholic. Not a Wit I’ll be returning to in a hurry.

Very perfumed, highly corriander flavour and aroma. Unmalted wheaty body, but floral side dominates.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled 25cl. It pours a hazy very pale yellow beer with a rather big beautiful snow white head. Quite similar resemblance to Hoegaarden, but with less carbonation. Dominating citrussy aromas. Orange peel, coriander. Acidic, citric taste. Sour. The taste is clearly inferior to the taste, the aromas suggested a better beer. Watery, weak body. Slightly spicy, yeasty. This beer doesn’ t have much depth, weak finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The 15.4 ounce bottle poured a slightly hazy straw colored beverage with a snowy white creamy smooth head that was completely lasting and left great lacing on the glass. The aroma was true to the style with dry sour fruity aromas. The body was medium-light with lively carbonation and a dry texture. The flavor starts out lightly sour and stays that way through the medium-long finish, mellowing as it ages on the tongue. The finish is dry, tart and refreshing with slight alcohol warmth.
