Blond, cloudy, milky (colloïdal by cold). The cloudy appearance is created at low temperature but disappears when the beer gets warmer or when it is kept too long in the cold. Fine fruity with a scent of the used spice, coriander and bitter orange. Smooth beer, thirst-quenching but mild, slightly acidulous, powdery consistency on the tongue, not bitter

cloudy light golden color, it has lively carbonation with small white head. the aroma is citrusy and so is the flavor. light bodied, easy to drink in warm weather.

Strong fruity aroma shows big hints of lemon and maybe orange. Nice and hazy in the glass. In the mouth I found it refreshing and smooth, but slightly one shallow in flavor: the fruit seemed to have disappeared. The finish is somewhat ho-hum, this nothing really to say. A nice little white that shouldn’t be turned donw, but truly just another average beer in the bunch.

Tasted at Gollem bar, Amsterdam. Cloudy yellow. Quickly fading head. Medium sweet, with light wheat, citrus, butter, and coriander. A standard, but not exceptional wit.

UPDATED: NOV 3, 2007 Coriander is a bit overwhelming, but not disturbing at all for a coriander lover like me. No bitter at all, very refreshing beer. Taste it with a brown truot!!

Hella old bottle but i picked it up anyways cuz i love witbiers. Pour is a fizzy yellow beer with tons of sediment in equilibrium. Head is dead on arrival. Light aroma of yeast but thats about it. Flavor a flat and bland taste of coriander. Such a shame i had to find a old and very poor condition of this blanche.

I poured a huge head for some reason. Beautiful color, quite cloudy. Very clean taste, can taste orange. Not much in the way of mouthfeel, but is very refreshing. I would definetely enjoy this with a meal.

Bottle. A light hazed yellow color with minimal head. A light pear, lemon and citrus aroma. Dry, light fruits, musty, orange and corriander in the flavor.

25cl bottle labeled 18/01/08. Poured a medium and cloudy golden / yellow color with a huge sized white head. Aromas of lemons, yeast, oranges, and spices (corriander). Tastes of wheat, lemons, and light spices. The tastes where kind of bland and watery. Thinner body.

Pours with the slightest touch of haze. The beer is a very pale, straw gold color and it is topped by a frothy, initially two finger thick, pale, off-white colored head. The aroma sort of has a musty grain character to it, damp wheat that has picked up just a hint of mold. The orange peel is really the first note noticed though and it is perhaps the note with the biggest aromatic presence (though not by much). The nose is quite aromatic, with lots of spicy notes that I can’t quite pull out; the coriander is here after I dig for it a bit, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the licorice was contributing something to the general character of the aroma as well.

The beer is quite light on the tongue with enough carbonation to cause it to foam up a bit as it hits my mouth. A light tartness is here as well, which, along with the dryness, accentuates a the orange peel to taste more like a lemon flavor. Without the yeast it is just a bit too clean.

For my second pour I make sure to really mix in the yeast from the bottle conditioning. The beer is now deeply hazy and even the aroma has picked up some yeastiness to it. The flavor does not change too much, but the finish does have more of a yeast / fermented dough character to it. This beer is really a summer quaffer; it is very light and refreshing. I don’t really get a sense of the liquorice, well no, know that I am looking for it there is some of that flavor here. Somehow it mixes with the citrus notes and it adds to the overall refreshing character of this brew.

Let’s see. My girlfriend and her best friend are discussing boy problems while I drink this so I’ll try to keep it objective; it keeps me sane. Really thick huge white head. Light straw color. Bright sugar nose. Some wheat, lemon in the nose. Sweet, almost a type of SweetTart flavor. I guess you can figure out that it is sort of sweet, a bit tart, and really dry. Decent if you can get a hand on it. Not the complete best beer, but give it a try if you see it in the cooler.
