Bottle 33cl. Big foam, whith lot of lacing. Aroma corriander, orange. Flavour is same, with citrus. This is classic type of wit beer.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Douberd (681) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 17, 2013
Small 250 ml bottle, into a tumbler.ABV 4.5%
Very pale yellow colour on the body, with a big, thick and fluffy white head on top. Very good retention, light lacing around the glass. Continuous activity in the body.
Aroma is full of citrus fruits, smells quite a bit like lemonade. A bit of wheat on the background but very faint. If there is coriander in this one, I can’t smell it.
It’s on the taste though, along with the wheat. Mildly sweet, quite refreshing, it has some hints of bitterness on the aftertaste, where coriander becomes more obvious too.
Thin body, good carbonation.
Overall, much better than th majority of whites out there.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Marstonlad (191) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 15, 2013
Cloudy yellow color, a thick, frothy head. Aroma of fresh fruitiness and spiciness - very typical for a witbier. Taste is refreshing, both fruity and spicy: flavours of citrus and orange combine with spicy notes of coriander. Palate is deliciously smooth, medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice witbier: delightfully smooth and tasty despite a bit low abv. Perfect for summer.
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Benfi (307) - DENMARK - JUN 14, 2013
Hazy white yellow with huge white foam head, lacing to glass. Aroma is citrus, but also some dough. Taste is fresh, not too outstanding, present, more in distance, citrus fruit. Aftertaste is lasting
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 thellgren (117) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 8, 2013
0.33 l bottle from local supermarket. Big head, cloudy appearance. Looks like grapefruit juice. Taste is nothing special, a bit on the light side. Quite refreshing though. Label says that it has got WBA 09 World Beer Award as the world’s best wheat beer. Well, that’s an overstatement.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 BitchPls (259) - FINLAND - JUN 3, 2013
Bubbly, hazy golden yellow beer with a huge white head. A foam bath. Mild citrus and yest notes on the nose. Mild banana, wheat, a hint of yeast in the flavors. Quite thin body but not too watery. Quite a basic summer drink. Nothing especially interesting about this wheat beer except for it looks good at this moment.

Hazy pale yellow with a big white head. Nice fruity, spicy aroma. Good sweet, fruity, wheaty flavour. Very refreshing.

Hier wordt ik niet warm of koud van. Wat zurige nasmaak. Kan me niet voorstellen dat dit het beste wheat beer is.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Xstream (123) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 29, 2013
Appearance is picture perfect. Light yellow, hazy with a huge fluffy head. But other then that this is just a regular white bear. It lacks something special and is quite watery. Flavor is like you’d expect and the carbonation is slightly overkill for me. But tasty nonetheless.

My favourite witbier just ahead of Weihenstephaner. It is the slightly less fruitiness and that hint of extra acidity that makes this so good.
