3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Très décevant au gout par rapport a son apparence , manque un peu de saveurs .
On s’attends a mieux pour une bière ayant reçu un prix .
Peut s’apparenter a une Hoegarden , cependant avec moins de gout .

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Waitrose. Hazy yellow body with a fluffy white head. Lively carbonation. Great lacing. Aroma of green apple, salt and stainless steel. Sour flavour of gooseberry, Granny Smith apple and lemon. Hints of yeast, coriander and spice. Thin body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Not great - unpleasantly astringent.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The appearance has a hazy yellow colored body with a thin/half fingered white foamy head that dies to a film coating the top of the glass. Carbonation is actually seen rising.
The smell has a nice combination of citrus to coriander (quite possibly the strongest smelling coriander-witbier I’ve ever smelled - wow holy moley that coriander is strong).
The taste has a citrusy sweetness with a nice spice added to compliment a different aspect witbiers tend to take on. There is a nice citrusy sweet and somewhat spicy aftertaste with a dry sweet spicy finish.
On the palate, she sits light, maybe somewhat sessionable for a Witbier at 4.5% but the spices that come in and they come in strong tend to pound the mouth and tongue a bit harshly (ha, its a witbier and to be somewhat expected, no worries).
Overall, wow, what a nice witbier I’m certainly more than glad to have, though I’m not a true fan of the style if anyone could try this style they should start with this and hopefully be amazed as much as I was with this one. Hopefully, I’ll get to see this one again.
