Ungstrup (11692), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 27, 2002 An unclear very yellow beer with a good head. It tastes a lot of lemon/citrus and is very acidic but at the same time very fresh. The overpowering taste of lemon - makes me choose another witbier when that is what I want. Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 14, 2005 Updated: Jan 9, 2006(Bottle 75 cl) One of the first Belgian whites to enter the market after the succesful relaunch of Hoegaarden by Pierre Celis. Paler than Hoegaarden, but with a smaller head. All the typical perfumy coriander and orange peel notes that make witbiers such a wonderful and quenching experience. This is one of the best. 040993 yespr (7782), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 4, 2007 75 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a huge white head. Citrus/lime fruity aroma with a minor spice note. Very smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Wheaty flavoured with a mild spicyness and a refreshing citrus/lime note. Ends soft wheaty and fresh without any bitterness. Overall an extremely smooth beer which lacks some more flavour to be really good.
