Nice white head though fast disappearing. Cloudy yellow golden colored body. Nose is lots of yeast and some citrus. Sour flavor with tones of yeast, citrus and hops. Watery aftertaste. A fresh but not very full beer.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Borresteijn (2596) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 8, 2008
I have a soft spot for this beer. Beautiful hazy yellow colour, thick creamy white head. Aroma of citrus, grass and wheat. Flavour is lots of citrus, soft wheat and some coriander. Soft mouthfeel. Quite sour/tart, but very refreshing witbier.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2004 Tried on draught in various Amsterdam bars. This is a delicious wit beer, bright, sweet and exquisitely fruity. With or without a wedge of lemon, this is a swig of citrus heaven.
3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 crossovert (2547) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 17, 2011
My dad loves these so I got him a 750ml to split. Best before: 22/02/10.
Pours with a small white head that quickly dissipates. Color is definitively more vibrant than most Witbiers and is that summery looking bright gold/yellow.
Smells overwhelmingly of orange peel with a hint of spices and yeast.
Nice mouthfeel on this one, nice and prickling carbonation, light body, the beer style of summer. The orange is subdued in the taste replaced with a healthy serving of tart lemons. Subtle spices of corriander and liquorice and bitter orange peel tag along towards the end. Ends with a moderately dry finish.
It would be decently drinkable, the sourness gets tiresome for me personally after a while, the 4.5% alcohol makes it an ideal session brew for those who enjoy the tartness and at just over 6.00 for a 750ml it is not a bad alternative to similar priced beers such as Blanche de Bruxelles. Although it has alot more bite than other belgian wits I have tasted.
Overall a good summer session beer, not anywhere near the best in the wit category but worth a try for comparison and from my dad "5 outta 5".

Bottle. Pours a murky yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma of tart citrus, a bit of orange, light wheat malt, light barnyard. Flavor of light wheat malt, some tartness, lemon, light orange, a bit of barnyard. Mouth feel is light, soft body, lively carbonation, very watery. Overall, would make a GREAT refreshing summer beer.
3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 pivo (2540) - GERMANY - APR 3, 2003
Fat orangy, yeasty nose. Hazy pale greenish-yellow color and a quick-lived, tall fizzy head. Weak malt tastes with a light citrusiness. Tart end. Thin and quick. Has an overall effect of lemonade. Nice, though.
