| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 28, 2006 Pale yellow cloudiness hue, with an off-white head, yeasty citrusy note, with a nice spicy coriander accent, and a juicy lemony aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with zesty citrusy mildy acidic character, with a candied orange peel fruitiness, spicy coriander, and hint of liquorice spiciness, wheaty malt note, leading towards a juicy lemony, and faint lactic finish. However, the body is just right, a hair stronger than wispy, making it a very refreshing, post-soccer game-in 85 degree-weather treat. Plus, a touch too sugary sweet in the finish for me. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Bottle. Hazy dark yellow with a thick foamy head. Looks like a good wit. Nose-soapy, heather, coriander, moldy, fusty. Taste-prickly CO2, thin, watery, coriander, light lemon juice, salt, good use the usual wit spices, light grapefruit, low esters, low phenols, does a good job of keeping the phenols and esters usually found in wits in check. Not as nasty as most wits. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
