COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blond, cloudy, milky (colloïdal by cold). The cloudy appearance is created at low temperature but disappears when the beer gets warmer or when it is kept too long in the cold. Fine fruity with a scent of the used spice, coriander and bitter orange. Smooth beer, thirst-quenching but mild, slightly acidulous, powdery consistency on the tongue, not bitter

Very pale yellow; huge, velvety looking white head. Lots of coriander in the nose, but citrus, wheat and other aroma’s (vanilla?) make it quite acceptable, smells even inviting. Very dull, nearly apologetic taste. Some coriander, citrus gone, (non-sweet) dough-like flavour remaining. Pale in comparison to the nose. Light, refreshing but not helped by the absence of citrus. I was expecting more from the much-hailed Du Bocq white.
Tasted under the name "Meessen blanche Vagant . I cannot understand InBev has let this trough, as the label has been conceived in order to be a clone from the Hoegaarden one.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2007 Bottled. A very hazy yellow coloured wit with very little head. The aroma is heavy on lemony notes and there is a fruity yeasty character. The taste is quite perfumed and floral with more lemony wheaty notes. The spices don’t real shine out and the mouthfeel is a bit thin.

The lighter, less cloudy witbier. This is refreshing with citrus and banana flavours. Not as intense as many wheats in both taste and alc. This is the lighter way to enjoy wheat beer.

Very perfumed, highly corriander flavour and aroma. Unmalted wheaty body, but floral side dominates.

A crisp wheat beer. Orange and lemon traces. Dry finish. Refreshing if served very cold!

Pours a cloudy white/yellow with a nice frothy white head. Smells of coriander, cloves, bananas, and licorice with some minor citrussy elements creeping in as it warms. Taste is a nicely balanced coriander/spicey, malty combo with a strong spicey citrus finish. Definitely am enjoyable experience.

Bottle from State Line. Hazy off-yellow pour with 1-finger white head. Aroma is orange zesty, spicy, with coriander and white pepper notes. The palate is medium to light, spritzy, with flavors of wheaty malt, spicy hops, coriander, orange zest, and white pepper.

Bottle, BB 1/18/08. Poured slightly hazy pale golden with a great initial cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up bunches of fresh orange peel with a spicy, candied appeal to it.. coriander accents.. quite nice! The flavor began with lightly-sour wheat and orange peel rolling across the tip of the tongue.. oranges and coriander on the middle.. sweet, candied pale malts, oranges, and sticky spices on the finish. Creamy carbonation on the palate made it thicker than it needed to be at times.. decent brew, and good for the style.
