dhurtubise (569), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada Sep 6, 2002 As far as wits are concerned, it doesn’t get much better than this. It is light, refreshingly tart, beautifully spiced with more than just coriander and bitter orange peels - i think nutmeg for sure and maybe some cardimum. The spices linger in the background as the lightly bittered beer flows easily with wheat and bitter oranges being the prominent flavors. This is my favorite wit, it is extemely hard to find in North America - in fact this is the only beer that I’ll import a couple of cases yearly. Just lovely. mike1977ok (373), Netherlands Jan 19, 2007 Fresh sweet aroma, very refreshing beer that is sharper and gassier than other white beers.
thechandler (213), West Virginia, USA Jan 29, 2008 Pours a cloudy pale yellow, decent white head. Slight citrus and spice aroma. Very "fresh" scent. Flavor was nearly immaculate. Full, citrusy, floral, spicey, floral and tasty. Goes down completely smooth, fantastically crisp. This is a fantastic Witbier. Hansen (1828), Randers, Denmark Dec 31, 2002 What a beer! Great fruity aroma and flavor. The coriander is in it, but there is more to it than that. I realy like the taste and aroma this beer has. But it’s a bit to sparkling. DanielBrown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England Dec 3, 2003 Updated: Mar 8, 2004Tried on draught in various Amsterdam bars. This is a delicious wit beer, bright, sweet and exquisitely fruity. With or without a wedge of lemon, this is a swig of citrus heaven.
