BoBoChamp (255), Gent, Belgium Jul 21, 2008 25cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, easy to drink, refreshing, cloudy, good head, nice Belgian White juiceisloose (281), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 20, 2008 Pours a hazy yellow color with a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma shows notes of citrus fruit, orange peel, coriander, and some lemon zest. The flavor is much the same with the lemon zest and spices coming through with some tart flavors on the back end. Medium bodied with good carbonation and a fruit and spice finish. Maybe a little thin on the body and a touch acidic. Pretty decent for a witbier, but not my favorite of this style. SDbruboy (1809), San Diego, California, USA Jul 15, 2008 750 bottle from Whole Foods La Jolla. Pours hazy whitish golden with a large and foamy white head that diminished rather quickly. Aroma of grainy wheat, citrus, floral notes and bready yeasts and alfalfa. Very much tart wheat and citrusy flavor, hints of spice and hops. Light to medium body and aggressive carbonation. Meh... changeup45 (527), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 13, 2008 750 ml bottle. Hazy pale yellow color with a moderate head that fizzles down rather quickly. Pretty simple, citrus orange and coriander flavors, yeast and some spices hit the palate towards the back end. I didn’t pick up the licorice. A little watery and thin with a mild acidic/spitzy mouthfeel. Refreshing on a hot day but nothing too outstanding. taunusmies (223), Finland Jul 9, 2008 Pours hazy, pale yellow colour, with a medium-sized foamy head and light body. Wheaty, hoppy taste with heavy notes of citrus, herbs and spices. Slightly acidic. Refreshing.
