Thanks to Markus for sending this. It was a great example of the wit style. While I don’t go out of my way to chase Rare it makes me want to schedule a trip to Europe so I can try more like it. There’s only so many quads, imperial stouts, and other huge styles my palate can take in a day.

Aroma / Appearance - The cloudy golden body was beautiful to look at. The carbonation was very active like a sparkling champagne. The head takes a few minutes to settle down to a point that is drinkable. Orange zest, yeast, and lemon provide a dry texture to the air.

Flavor / Palate - The bubbly mouthfeel is very bright and active. It actually tastes a bit like orange soda water with a dash of lemon. Light and pleasant this is the sort of beer you can drink a few of without wearing down the palate too much. Once again thanks to Markus.

(Bottled) Opaque yellow with a large, big-bubbly head. Freshly citrusy nose with wheat and light orange-peel spiciness. Flavor has lots of orange-peel and coriander, and lemony-flowery, pale maltiness. Light to medium body, spritzy mouthfeel, quite refreshing. A pleasant and refreshing, tasty wit. 4234
