2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 mutant (854) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - DEC 27, 2002
Transparent & sediment free lemon colour. Overall weak in both aroma & flavour. Thin texture. Drinkable but go for something with more oomph.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Linc (736) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUN 18, 2002
I definately had a different batch to the rest of you. Yes, it was extremely pale, and is obviously a softer wit than usual (vis the low alc.) but grainy... nup mine was smooth, a little thin, but still well rounded on the finish, definatly not watery. A refreshing sourness was evident, as was the lemon flavour, but I found neither excessive. Spits all over any local macro wit attempt, and if you hadn’t guessed by now I kinda liked it!
2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 eczematic (1297) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 12, 2002
About the whitest wit I’ve seen - virtually transparent, and not very cloudy at all. Once you get past the sharp, decomposing cheese aroma, it’s drinkable enough, with a simplistic flavour like eating lemon barley and banana lollies at the same time. Finishes slightly grainy and creamy.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 CQC (224) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - APR 26, 2002
It’s bloody well Lemon meringue. Watery, bloaty, andsmells better than it tastes. Medical smell going on. Did I mention it was watery.. and there’s that weak orange taste.. Something up here. It’s gotta be a bit of a loose fermentation process which accidentally takes on the citrus qualities. Quick Palate (which is just as well), generally quite a speed miester...oh yeah and it’s a bit watery.

Not the greatest Belgian Wit, a bit sweetish and grainy. Goes down easily though, Its OK.
