3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Featherweight Belgian witbier that ranks high on my list of favourite summer quenchers. The palate is a little skinny for some tastes and the finish a little abrupt but it’s hard to beat when the mercury is pushing into the thirties. It pours a cloudy lemon colour with a healthy white head. The nose has mouth-watering grapefruit notes and a little spice. The body is gossamer-thin and quenching. There are hints of banana and tea and the mildest of finishes. Nothing very complex here but it’s very more-ish. (Bottle)

Pretty standard witn nose.
Cloudy yellow, rather low head.
Perfumed flowery flavors are overpowering.
Thinbodied, somewhat flat mouthfeel.
Rather one-dimensional wit.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy light yellow, quite nice white head. Has a fresh aroma from grapefruits. The grape is there in the flavor as well with some citrus. Quite a mild finish. A good weissbier.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hazy golden coloured body with a large frothy white head. Aroma of coriander seed, slight corn and some malt. Light malty flavour some clove and curacao but not much else. Aftertaste super clean, nothing crazy at all. Overall, nice to try but don't expect a superb beer! I had this beer on draught at Chez Antoinette in Washington, D.C. on 05-March-2004.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cloudy, murky yellow. Looks like a urine sample with a cotton head. Smells very clean and fresh, coriander. Taste is light and includes malt, curaco, coriander. Aftertaste is like hydrogen peroxide, feels cottony on the tongue. This beer is not very good

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
White head that sits well and laces up nicely. Less hazy than hoegaarden. Soft aroma, coriander with lemon and vanilla. Best palate of a white I can remember having, nice and full and smooth, the tartness makes a nice edge as your mouth empties.
Sweet and maybe even a hint of vanilla malt? Lingering tart lemon. Nice, I'd like to side by side this with hoegaarden. (Other people are commenting on a watery thing. I definitely didn't get that. I had it at room temp, maybe that's the difference?)

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Another "belgian" (like Caporal) which seems to be showing up almost exclusively in Aussie bottleos by the looks of the raters below. Anyway, this beer is an ok wit which seems to want to be something like hoegarden white but just isn't as well done. A bit hay flavoured.
