2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Boutip (3454) - Gatineau, - SEP 13, 2009
Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with large foamy head with some retention and not much lacing. Aroma of medium wheat malt with some coriander. Taste is also a mix between some average wheat malt notes with light fruity ester and some coriander. Body is about average with OK carbonation. Lacking body and spicing is a bit shy for a middle of the road offering.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Panzerfaust (509) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - MAY 11, 2012
330 ml bottle bought in Jumbo, Santiago de Chile. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a soda head that dissappears after 3 seconds. Aroma is spicy and yeasty, very artificial. Overpowering coriander note. Nothing else. Taste is artificial, very sweet with lots of coriander and bubblegum taste. Not good. A plastic replica of a Belgian Wit. This was a serious dissapointment after trying the very good Rousse. I’m not even trying the green or the violet one.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 heavy (1490) - Split, CROATIA - APR 30, 2012
21/11 0.75 l bottle, great thanks ogivlado for sharing! It poured opaque pale yellow body with big head. Cloying sugary and yeasty aroma, simple but pleasant. Sweetish flavor as well, lots of vanilla with spices, coriander, bubblegum... Regarding the style, it’s definitely full bodied. Finish was long of course and reflected completely from how it tasted. A very nice wit! Low percentiles? Well, I guess in this style most people appreciate blandness and utter simpleness!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 5, 2012
bottle from saveur-biere.com. Cloudy pale yellow, tiny white head, quickly disappearing. Not over-carbonated, quite smooth start, whetay and yeasty with pleasant fruity and spicy flavours. A well-balanced blanche.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Lubiere (6979) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 29, 2012
A hazed blonde wit with a thin white head. In aroma, nice juniper berries, and woody extract, grassy, strawberries, a bit oxidized. In mouth, a sweet light banana malt with dryish character, a bit of oxidation, light cloves and juniper, not bad.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 greenclansman (231) - Nicosia, CYPRUS - JAN 6, 2012
Very pale lemony color...
Little foam...
Lemony smells and kinda watery taste.
Really refreshing but not strong at all.
More like a lemon beer...
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ogivlado (4444) - Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 19, 2011
Bottled 750ml. -from Auchan Torino. Slight cloudy yellow coloured, small white head that went away fast, fresh citrusy nose. Wheaty, yeasty and light watery with pleasant notes of coriander. Short spicy finish. Refreshing but a bit too mild.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Marko (3115) - Split, CROATIA - NOV 27, 2011
Croatian November ’11 RB tasting, Ogi’s bottle. Poured a misty pale ochre body. Dusty soapy nose, fruity and malty, yet nice! Fruity soft lactic taste, agrumey. All in all, a very good wit.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 kappldav123 (3286) - Markkleeberg, GERMANY - SEP 6, 2011
Bottle looks a bit complex. Beer in the glass not very zippy, small head. Nice fruity aroma like apricots. Starts mild, modest sourish, mild fruity. Finish again mild, almost washy, modest spicy. Nothing special.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 31, 2011
Originally rated March 2008. Thanks to Drisse for bringing this one back from France. Pours a blonde colour until the bottom of the bottle is shaken, and then becomes cloudy. The carbonation is composed of big bubbles which I found different. The head is white, small, disappears fast and hardly any lace remains. The orange zest is what I smell the most in here, with some of the witbier yeast. The taste is pretty nice and refreshing with a nice balance of the orange, corriander and yeast. The mouthfeel is a bit thin, but this makes this one more drinkable.
