Commercial Description:
Cask; Status uncertain.
A new beer to Blanchfields range, introduced at the London's Drinker Beer Festival and sold well at the Wenlock Arms. At a recent visit by CAMRA members to the brewery it was voted best beer. A good session beer, light in colour but full of flavour.

Gravity, at The Old Dog, Herongate, Essex.
Amber with a white sudsy head, thin and clinging on for its life. Sweet cherry aroma, also some ethanol as well. A solid no-nonsense bitter. Easy on the palate and smooth drinking.

Bright bottled @ London Drinker Festival. 4 days ago. Orange amber session bitter. Faint wet cardboard aroma. Sweet front moving into bittering finish. Orange flavours. Little evidence of hops other than as bittering. Drinkable, but poorly balanced.

Very suphurous aroma, masking any other components. Some dusty malt and smoky accents in the flavour. Slightly sour hop notes make a an appearance int he finish. Not very golden, and not very impressive. Probably not in tip top condition. Cask, London Drinker Beer fetsival (2.3). RE-RATE. Two days later, same festival. Far better. Although there were traces of sulphur, nowhere near as intrusive as before. Stiil doesn't excite wildly, though. Rating is based on the later tasting.
