Bottle shared downtown during RBWG Asheville Late-Nite. Cheers! Pours clear gold with a bubbly white head. Very sweet, with some gummy candies, light tangy berries. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly drying on the finish, with further sugary fruit candy character. OK.

Bottle. Shared with the wife a week before Thanksgiving. Pours a medium redish/purple/brown. Light carb. Aroma is cough syrup and fake raspberry candy. Taste is more candy berry and a fake boozy 4Loko thing going on. Not overly pleasant.

This first pour from this bomber was a clear amber but the second resulted in a lot of cloudy stuff. Pour this carefully. Cream white head with some pinkish hues. Malty nose with definite berry accents. There is a ton of fruit flavors in here with blue popsicle, and red throat lozenge being two of them. The alcohol is subtle but effective. Some tannin, caramel and hair spray notes as it warms. This is a big berry beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample @ RBWG, Asheville. Deep amber pour with a small head. The nose is of fruit by the foot candies. Apricot jelly. Similarly fruity. Tart jam. Buoyant sweetness. Light acetic tang. Light body, soft carbonation. An unexpected surprise.

22oz bomber. Hazy what looks to be unfiltered orange, approaching red body. Foamy off-white head. Big raspberry, blackberry aroma, deep. The fruit and saison yeast flavors collide and are sort of at odds, but manage to merge into something and tasty. The fruit is so bold I can see why this was listed as a fruit beer, but the saison yeast is bold too. A touch overbearing, sugary, but still enjoyable.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tasted from bottle at the Friday night tasting at RBWG Asheville, thanks to DrSilverworm for this one. Pours hazy brown-orange with an average beige head that leaves thin lace. The nose is metallic canned black olives with some berry fruit and a touch of malt. The flavor is all about the fruit with the same malt from the nose. The body is full with lively carbonation and a long berry and lightly bitter toasted malt finish.

22 oz. bottle shared by DrSilverworm at the dumpy motel Friday night bottle share. Pours a hazy rose-tinted amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of berries, bready funk, earth, and apples. Flavor of berries, cream, cheesecake, bready funk, and earth. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, funky mouthfeel. Good berry saison.

>> Clear golden pour with weak foam. Nose is sugar, sweet ice cream, big apple. Taste is sugar, tart berries, not overly sticky, still strange. Wasn’t the biggest fan.
