bottle, bought at the brewery. Hazy brown colour, large beige head. Medium-bodied, malty body with good hoppy notes. Hints of caramel and roasted malt.

Pours brown with an off white head. A light roasted aroma and taste. Smooth and bitter finish.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.

Clear dark red - brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, flowers, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101107]

Bottle (courtesy of Quack-Duck !): Reddish-amber coloured with a frothy beige head, that slowly collapses with a little lace; shy almondy, a bit hoppy medical nose; quite soft MF, light sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied as well; short malty sweet-bitter finish. Not really convincing...........

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Hazy, mahogany colour with a big foamy tanned head. Sweet toast-malty, earthy and nutty aroma with a light herbal hoppy blend. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toast-malty, minimal yeasty and nutty taste moderately dry, sweet-bitter and slightly toasty finish. Decent unfiltered Dunkel (28.06.08).

(on bottle)Clear, nutbrown; large beige head. A sweet aroma; canesugar, quite syntetic. Watery mouth, tatse of melasses and a flat finih. Not very interesting dunkel at all.

Fresh toasted grain nose, hazy chesnet color, frothy beige head. Ligth toaste malt taste with slight wood flavor. Little bitter but a nice crisp texture. Medium-thin body. OK dunkel.

A hazy red-brown with a huge light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of elderberry flower and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, metal, and nuts. The end is dry and somewhat metallic.

Bottle. Light brown colour with a big off-white head. Light caramel malty, light roasted aroma and a sweet light smoked, light roasted taste. Medium body with a light smoked finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy light brown with a small, creamy, off-white head. Nose full of roasted malt. Surprisingly light body with weak notes of roasted malt and even a vague touch of smoke. Very easy drinking but far from thrilling. 210106
