(Bottle at One Pint Pub Augustfest ’10) Poured pale yellow and hazy. Head was medium sized and white. Aroma contained clove, fruitiness and citricness. Palate was medium bodied and bit tongue-numbing with quite high carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, clove, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter.

Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Very sweet banana nose. Medium body, sweet banana, yeast and phenols

Bottle 500ml. @ home.

Murky medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, fruity, banana - pineapple, yeast, clove notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20101012]

Bottle (courtesy of Quack-Duck !): Pale golden, hazy, quite quickly diminishing white head; vanilla and bananas in the nose, backed by sweet-malt and yeast; moderate sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; fruity-sweetish (bananas) finish with a very light tartness in the aftertaste. Not bad at all.......

bottle, bought at the brewery. Cloudy pale golden yellow, large white head. Aroma of banana. Pleasantly spicy, yeasty and malty with hints of yeast and banana, also a touch of citrus fruit.

Sweet banana-fruity nose with a slightly sourish wheat-character; spicy phenols stay in the background. Light-sweet and sourish flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Wheaty and citrus-fruity taste with distinctive notes of banana; moderately dry and sourish fruity finish with yeasty bitter notes (29.06.08).

(on bottle) I just don´t dig hefe´s and nice seems to quite a grand example. Loads of banana to the nose, watery mouthfeel, witch does become foamy and gulping. The esters are very dominant, but there´s a somewhat flat finish.

Perfumy, herbal nose - lavernder and rosemary, as well as yeast. Wild, really. Hazy pale orange color, sticky head. Apricot notes in the fruity body accented with vanilla. Medium body. Creamy soft texture. Interesting, but certainly not the best hefeweizen.

An unclear yellow beer wtih a huge creamy white head. The aroma is sweet and freshly wheaty combined with light notes of citrus as well as faint hints of banana. The flavor is sweet and very wheaty, with light notes of citrus, before a powerful note of banana hits You in the aftertaste. The end is wheaty dry, while the mouthfeel is somewhat sticky - a little like mashed bananas.

Bottle. Light hazy yellow colour with a big white head. Banana, light citrus aroma and a sweet banana light citrus taste. Medium body with a sweet finish.
