COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
“Obviously Hoppy – Definitively Blatant”

Hoppy… obviously. BLATANT INDIA PALE ALE (IPA) is reminiscent of the hop profiles of those beers brewed by our West Coast friends, but represents the enormous pride of our East Coast roots. Full of hops and a subtle cereal grain backbone, this definitively BLATANT brew will demand the attention of the senses: the aroma, the flavor, the finish. Don’t look any further, this is your new favorite. BE BLATANT!

Pours pale gold into a shaker. White micro head with good retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Caramel and resin aromas. Dry grapefruit front to back and through the lasting finish.

It is an interesting beer, but is not among my favourite IPA. I guess the problem is in the OG/IBU profile: to light body for such very hoppy beer. What I liked more in this IPA was its head retention.

Nice color, no head retention. Reasonably chewy, Cascade hops through out. Medium finish. Average but not great. Nice house beer. Enjoyability 3/5.

22oz bottle from Crossroads Beer & Wine, Burlington, MA. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber with a tight packed cream headsweet, piney, aroma; smooth grainy body with some acidic, resinous, hops that build to give a dry and woody bitter finish. A pleasant IPA.

Bottle shared by swolf3. Decent looking IPA... Orange with a slight red tint. Nose is perfumey...floral. Taste is malty, bready, floral, lots of perfume. Ehhh....Medium body and carbonation. Just an ok IPA. Thanks wolf for sharing!

Bomber. Pours golden with a white head. Another blatantly average IPA only slightly tastier than their blatant session beer. Meh

Damico (1395) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 1, 2012
Pours mostly clear lemon with a light amber hue and decent white head. The aroma is most pleasant, soft velvety spring hoppy notes in the nose. The flavor of soft hops and a bit of bitter earthy notes I get on the palate, like fresh spring.

Nice hazy yellow body with white head. Almost a wet hop smell profile to it. Tastes very almost grassy, with just a tang of bitterness.

22 oz bomber purchased from Yankee Spirits Sturbridge. No bottle on date, but I know this can’t be more than a month old. Served in a shaped pint glass. A - A lot lighter than I was expecting. Pours an opaque straw/amber body with a lasting soapy white head. Almost looks like a wheat ale. Decent lacing and retention. S - Grapefruit, pine, and some grassy and earthy notes. A bit of biscuity malts in the finish. Smells very fresh and crisp. T - Similar to the nose. Starts off with some grapefruit and pine notes. The finish is grassy and malty. Really clean and refreshing with a lightly bitter finish. Medium mouth feel with lively carbonation. O - A really well crafted local IPA. Very clean tasting with all the elements I expect from an IPA. Low bitterness also allows for high drinkability. Worth the $4.99 price tag. Looks like these may be dated sometime in the future so I will be picking up some more.

Bomber. Pours a hazy golden cor with light orange tinge and a foamy white head. Nose is lemon zest, citrus hop notes, grassy. Palate is bitter and stingy throughout. Flavors of citrusy, yet dry hop notes, light biscuit notes.
