Not good by anyone’s standards. Thats why they call it Blatz. Golden, typical lager color. This is also typical of Pabst Products. Avoid, especially if you like good beer.

How exactly did this beer get its name? Did they take the first sound out of the German who first took a taste? I’m sure they chased the brewer right off of the continent. At least the light has less of the offensive taste than the regular. How do the people in WI drink this stuff? I used it to soak Trippe in overnight before throwing the sausages on the grill...not bad. BTW why do all of the pabst light products have the same amount of cals. (110), carbs. (8.3), and protein (0.7)? Is it all really the same stuff in different cans?

UPDATED: MAY 14, 2006 Drank this stuff for the first time in a year last night. Not good by any standards but still better than strohs or reddog. Flavor is minimal, carbonation is decent at best and the aroma well lets not go there. The only reason I even bought it was that it was the only case I could get for under 10 bucks after tax.

Nothing wrong, nothing to like. Drink it very cold. yellow. Reminds me of tasting Grandpa’s beer as a child.

I made beer butt chicken with this stuff. Best chicken ever! My kid got sick the next day but who cares. I always keep some in the fridge. That’s in the garage. The wife won’t allow it in the kitchen. I give it to my no good relatives when they visit. Good thing. Haven’t seen them in awhile.

Like regular Blatz with extra water. It’s hard to hate a beer with a name like Blatz, though. Sorta like Smuckers jam, except that I don’t like jam.
