For cheap beer, an alright purchase. Flavor is the best quality, but they don’t quite redeem the horrible palette. Its not exactly smooth going down.

$2.50 For a Six-Pack. I Could Stop Right There :) Legendary Swill...One of the ’GREATS’ From Wisconsin. Musty Malt and Bad Corn Aroma and Flavor.

Can. Small white head that was mostly lasting, fine-small sized bubbles, sparse lacing, transparent, carbonated, and a yellow hue. Malty and corn aroma. Sweet, malty taste. Tingly mouthfeel.

Very sweet beer, which makes it a bit different then other beers like O.S and hamms and so forth. Good beer for the price though, the U.P of michigan has blatz everywhere, super cheap too!

Blatz is one of the legendary macroswills, along with Schlitz, PBR, Stroh’s, Falstaff, Old Style, etc. Problem is, they all seem to taste the same--corn and rice, corn and rice, corn and rice. Blatz had a lot of corn sweetness, but I could taste more of the aluminum can than anything.

I love Blatz, but it gives me the Schlitz. Blatz makes me want to squirt all over when i drink it. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside like a good old time beer should. I am impressed on how horney it makes me.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2005 Had this in returnable bottles in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. For the cheapest beer I’ve ever had, this was not too bad. Very flat with very little head, nose of sweet corn, tastes a little better than your regular macro-brew. For a cheap buzz, I was impressed at it’s drinkability. Re-rated 7/10/05, had this one in cans. A very drinkable, yet not particularly tasty, beer. An excellent lawnmower beer and for the price, you can’t really go wrong.
