COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blatz beer is everything Val Blatz himself was - bold, determined, innovative, and new to the country. Blatz still retains its heritage of fine American beer made with German craftsmanship. Brewed with the finest six row barley our country can grow, Blatz marries old world Gumeiklekeit with new world creativity. Next time the barkeep asks what brand you want, ask for Milwaukee’s Finest Beer - Blatz!

Wasser. Better than Miller or Budweiser though. It is a light tasting lager with a noticeable adjunct coating.

Once, when younger, this was my "go to" brew. Absolutely standard micro brew, but the name was interesting!

Strangely enough, last night brought to me my first even bottle of Blatz beer. It’s a Milwaukee legend, been established for over 150 years I think. Forgive me beer.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2010 Poured pale yellow with actually a decent head that faded to a frothy lace. Aroma was mainly of corn and with a slight malt and sweetness in the background. Taste was primarily of corn/adjunct grains with a twinge of malt and a light hop and slightly sour bite finish. Palate was OK but a bit thin. Overall, a typical macro brewed at Miller for Pabst. I wonder how close this stuff is to the orginal Blatz formula??? I have a hard time believing that Val Blatz would have been proud of this stuff. However, for the price I can see why this stuff is on the shelves.

clear gold color, nice white head, touch of lace. nose is mildly grainy. flavor is also mildly grainy. light bodied, dry finish. completely inoffensive beer. blatz-man gave me a free can of this at dark lord day 2010.

Bought a sixer of this because I remember my dad drinking it 30 some years ago when I was a kid. Really regret my decision...this stuff is horrible!

Wow, terrible beer. I love the guy that left the most recent review after mine - Old Style tastes premium compared to Blatz. That says it all. Hey, it gets you drunk if you drink enough of them!

I has this straight out of the can but I can imagine. One of the least flavorful beers I have ever had. I traded my Uncle around the campfire for one of my Old Style’s. The Old Style tasted like premium stuff after this! Like they said, have enough of these and you’ll go "BLAAAAATZ"!!
