Blatz beer is everything Val Blatz himself was - bold, determined, innovative, and new to the country. Blatz still retains its heritage of fine American beer made with German craftsmanship. I drank this only because I love the name. Blatz! That is not a name, it’s a sound effect. When Batman slugged a bad guy it when BLATZ! And then the caped crusader would go back to the Bat cave for a nice cold Blatz.

It will get you drunk is about all I have to say about it. Worse than Pabst but better than Shiltz and Hamms

The beer that got me through college. If you can get beyond the smell this can be a great cheap beer to get you your fill. This beer finishes well and is light enough to drink several in a sitting.

Rating #1000! Had to go sentimental on this one. First beer I ever had. Use to drink it with my Grandpa whenever my family visited when I was young. Thanks to MrFacto for sending me a couple cans. Pours clear, pale gold with a huge white head that eventually settle to a thin layer. Aroma of corny grains and subtle alcohol. Flavor is similar with cereal grains and hints of something like euro hops and an underlying, artificial sweetness. Finish is dry and bitter. Light body, balanced carbonation. Really the only negative is the artificial sweetness, but there’s not really anything positive either. Decent lawnmower or beach beverage. This beer will always have a place in my memories. Prost!

Blatz, where water and alcohol meet in a can. Not much else in it: Pale, bland, and bad.

My grandmother drank this 20 years ago. I back then turned her on to Coors light. funny. Blatz is pretty bad.

This beer is great!!! I have found that if you need something to cure your constipation just down 6 and just wait till morning. Sleep near a bathroom.
