Clear amber color (uncommon for Dunkel), small off-white head. Aroma of rye, wort, overriped fruits and some caramel. Medium-bodied. Some caramel, barley-malty main flavor and then some musty nutty notes. A bit unconventional Dunkel and unbalanced but not totally hopeless.

Bottle. Pale amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is butter, malt, fruit. flavour is butter, malt, hop, fruit. Boring beer.

Bottled (From landbierparadies.com). Deep amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild riped fruits, raisins and some slight toasted notes. Flavour is rather similar with some quite strong bitterness as well. A bit on the sweeter side.

Bottle 500ml. @ home on the terrace.

Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, and when it heats up it gets more and more in to butter ;O(( Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110520]

0.5 l bottle. Reddish amber color. Sweet very toffeish aroma. Dryer yet very toffeish flavor with dry and tart finish. Some herbal and raisiny notes also. Full bodied. Overpowering toffee aroma and flavor, not drinkable.

It’s dark-brown with a creamy head, and the aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel and hints of licorice. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of caramel, roasted malt, light licorice, and it has a little citrus in the dry finish.

Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. It’s a clear, brown beer with a dense, small, beige head. Buttery, caramel aroma with a solid fruity dose. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Rather dry on the palate, with some buttery fruit caramel flavors. Low on bitterness, except for in the end. A quite tasteful beer, but not with the tastes I would like. Not all bad though. 110601

Bottle.Pours amber with an off-white head.Aroma of toffee, butterscotch, malt and fruitiness.Flavor is sweet butterscotch and malt with some fruitiness.Medium body, average carbonation.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear brown colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty, hints of roasted malts, caramel with some harsh hoppy bitterness. A bit thin and bland.
