Bottled. Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is bready malts, some slight grass, hay, and mild herbal and grainy notes too. Flavour is very similar with a quite interesting bitterness in the finish.

Bottle from Landbierparadies. Gold with a slight white head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Easy drinking, with a sweetish, berry fruit flavour, bready malts and bitter finish. Ok.

It’s golden with a huge, creamy and white head, and the aroma has notes of malt, bread, light flower and straw. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of clover-flower, bread, malt, and in the long, slightly dry and bitter finish, I find a little citrus.

Wenig fruchtiger und stiimig würziger Antrunk auf herber Basis. Leicht süß, wodurch das Bier noch süffiger wirkt. Dagegen spricht die für fränkische Vollbiere vergleichsweise hohe Karbonisierung. Deutlich holzig, gleichzeitig auch malziger, alles in angenehmem Maße ohne wirklich stark aromatisch zu sein. Zum Ende leichter, die Malzigkeit ist etwas trocken. Ohne Einschränkungen ein gutes fränkisches Vollbier! 9/11/11/12/9/11

Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, straw, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, grass. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100816]

Bottle. Blonde. Slightly soapy aroma with hints of malt. malty yet dry, soft flowery hopbitter flavor. Hint of orange. Short slightly soapy aftertaste. Decent helles.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Slightly dusty and sweet malt aroma, bready with a nutty touch. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malty and nutty taste with a harsh bitter note and a somewhat artificial background; dry and harsh bitter finish. Pretty unbalanced brew.

Bottle (bought at the brasserie): Pale golden, small, a bit lacing, quite stable white layer; sweet-grainy nose with hops waving through the aroma; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; bitter-sweet finish with a tinge of aromatic hops. Quite pleasant Helles.....

A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet flowery hoppy, while the flavor is sweet malty with a dusty hoppy note, leading to a dry bitter end.
