Bottle in Schlitz. Hazy golden appearance with a white head. Husky, grainy, pale malty, mineral aroma. Somewhat sweet yet crisp, straw/husky malty, a touch chewy flavor. Not bad.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.

Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, straw, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, grass. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100816]

Wenig fruchtiger und stiimig würziger Antrunk auf herber Basis. Leicht süß, wodurch das Bier noch süffiger wirkt. Dagegen spricht die für fränkische Vollbiere vergleichsweise hohe Karbonisierung. Deutlich holzig, gleichzeitig auch malziger, alles in angenehmem Maße ohne wirklich stark aromatisch zu sein. Zum Ende leichter, die Malzigkeit ist etwas trocken. Ohne Einschränkungen ein gutes fränkisches Vollbier! 9/11/11/12/9/11

It’s golden with a huge, creamy and white head, and the aroma has notes of malt, bread, light flower and straw. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of clover-flower, bread, malt, and in the long, slightly dry and bitter finish, I find a little citrus.

Goldgelbes Helles mit feinporiger Krone. Getreidiges Malzaroma. Vollmundiger, malziger Antrunk. Im Geschmack lieblich-honigtönern mit angenehm herben und halbtrockenem Abgang.

Bottle (bought at the brasserie): Pale golden, small, a bit lacing, quite stable white layer; sweet-grainy nose with hops waving through the aroma; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; bitter-sweet finish with a tinge of aromatic hops. Quite pleasant Helles.....

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, pilsener golden with a rough, white head. Malty but also fruity aroma. Medium body with rather sweet malt accents and a surprisingly bitter finish. 181106

50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and slight cornish. Sweet, toasted malt and light cornish. Smooth and light malty into an otherwise bitter and grassy hoppy finish

Bottle from Bierboutique Ölwechsel, Frankfurt. Clear golden, patchy head. Sweet bready aroma and flavours. An uncomplicated Helles.

Bottle from Landbierparadies. Gold with a slight white head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Easy drinking, with a sweetish, berry fruit flavour, bready malts and bitter finish. Ok.
